Save the date - Saturday, October 24 - a day at Princeton University set aside to remember and celebrate the Reformation.
The day begins with two Reformation lectures that focus on "The Timely Message of the Reformation to 21st Century Christians" by Dr. Paul Rorem (Princeton Theological Seminary) and Dr. Gerhard Bode (Concordia Seminary-St. Louis). The venue is McCosh 10 -- a lecture hall next to Princeton University Chapel that seats 300 people.
From 12:30 p.m. until 2:15 p.m., you are encouraged to find a good place for a meal at a nearby restaurant and to tour the campus.
The chapel doors open at 2:15 p.m. for the concert, with an organ prelude at 2:30 p.m. and the concert starting at 3:00 p.m. Featured this year are:
Last year over 700 people attended our first Reformation Concert, and we hope that nearly 1000 will attend this year. Download event posters to share with your congregations.
