All You Need to Know About the Discipleship Workshop Series:
Sessions are open to everyone! We encourage all lay leaders and congregation members to attend this discipleship series presented by the New Jersey District and hosted by Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Ridgewood, NJ.
The goal of this workshop is to equip lay people with the information and resources needed to become a better disciple in our current secular age. Workshops include:
Exploring the Mission of God Through the Parables What Does it Mean to be a Disciple? Understanding Worldview Connecting to the Secular World Through Culture Learning What Does it Mean to be an Apostolic Church? Exploring Hope Through the Work of the Trinity
Each session is on a Saturday and goes from 8:30-noon There is an optional $10 fee to cover lunch after each workshop. If you do not plan on staying for lunch afterwards you do not need to pay this fee. Lunch will include an open forum to discuss content from the workshop.

Find out as you study 21st century philosophy, art, architecture, music, moves, and literature during this workshop.
What Does It Mean to Be an Apostolic Church? Saturday, September 26th, 2020 8:30am-Noon Bethlehem Lutheran Church We confess that we are an apostolic church in the Nicene Creed, but how do we apply that to our everyday lives? Explore the core narratives and practices of an apostolic church in this workshop.
Exploring Hope Through the Work of the Trinity Saturday, November 7th, 2020 8:30am-Noon Bethlehem Lutheran Church How can we give timely answers to the questions non-christians are asking about Christianity? Learn to address questions based upon God's word, grounded in a trinitarian apologetic.
